Today I am grateful for:

1. Kristan. Thank you for taking Miss O tumbling this morning and letting her play. Your timing with that could not have been better and she had an excellent time playing with Your Sweet B. Thank you very much!

2. Washers and driers. Today, my house was a house of puking and hacking and how GLORIOUS that I didn't have to wash all the sheets and comforters and pillows and clothes out in a stream, beating them with rocks, hoping the sun would dry them, because today, that would not have happened.

3. Bread machines. Isn't it amazing that one little contraption can produce a lovely hunk of dough that then produces a lovely comfort food for the sick and afflicted, which for the first time today, she was able to keep down? Hallelujah.
