While I shan't retell the horror of last night with Miss Q (who, whilst out running errands with me took a LATE nap in her car seat and thus began a frightful night), I shall sing the praises of Miss O (and knock on wood that I'm not cursing myself to some misfortune with her today).
Around 9:30pm (yes! P.M.!), she came into my room (after I put Miss Q to bed...again), and she said, "Mommy! I have to go pee!"
Gentle Reader, this is the first time she has ever gotten out of bed because she has been alerted to her body's need to hit the loo.
Now, after all the potty training I have done with Miss A, Miss E and now most recently with Miss You-think-I've-got-it-down-but-I'm-just-foolin'-you! O, I realize that this is probably NOT going to be a habit immediately, but I do have high hopes that one day, in the not too distant future, she won't be needing the pull-ups at night which means she'll be completely potty trained. Oh. My. Gosh.
I'm nigh unto giddy with this happy realization. Either that, or I'm too sleep deprived right now to be thinking straight. In any case, I'm pretty happy and going to celebrate the best way possible: a cat nap on the couch.
