Where I'm At Right Now...

Gentle Reader, do you ever get one of those headaches? I don't necessarily mean a migraine, because I can still function and read and my vision has not been compromised by blinking blotches that send me, nauseous, to lie down.

But the headache where you feel that you must have an aneurysm that is about to explode, but you're not sure if aneurysms can be right above your left eye. The kind of headache where you'd like to squish your head together because it actually stops hurting until you release your head and then it hurts more. The kind of headache that even brownies don't help??????

Anyway, that's where I am today. And Super J is out of town for the day, at a Partners Meeting in Vegas. He'll be back after 10pm tonight...let's hope the meeting goes well--in fact, let's pause and just send happy compromising vibes to the partners of his company, shall we, that they get off their patooties and work out a solution to whatever is ailing them so they literally can get on with business so that this element of stress, at least, will be lifted. (Thank you very much for your vibesendings). And it's Spring Break, so my kids are home. They've already washed rocks dug up from underneath the deck, looking for fossils. Miss E has already dumped said rocks into an empty box and dubbed it a "fish bowl." Sigh. Oh! And they've already played with toy barns and too many "Littlest Petshop" Happy Meal Toys. They've already had packets of miniature chocolate chip cookies for snack time, a mere hour or so after breakfast of waffles. And it's only 11:35...in the morning. Good times.

I'm not grousing. I'm just saying.

I have one of those headaches right now. I got it about 15 minutes into my final this morning. Ugh. Though, since it was my photography final, the project was already done and all I had to do was sit there while everyone talked about their work. But still, three advils later, it won't go away. I'll try to send some compromising vibes to Vegas, since I'm a little closer.
