Yeah, so remember when I mentioned that Miss E finds this nursing thing to be sooooo interesting?
Today, while I was upstairs feeding Miss Q in my glider rocker, here comes Miss E with a BASKET full of dolls and Barbies. Please keep in mind that I was semi-dosing (UPDATE: that should be semi-DOZING...sigh) so it took me a bit to realize what was going on...
Miss E: standing right next to the rocking chair, "Hi Mom!"
Miss L: with eyes closed, mumbles something
Miss E: (very quietly) "Look at the Cute Baby. She's eating Momma's Milk." (in a higher pitched voice) "Hello Cute Baby. She's so cute." (pause, shuffle, shuffle) "Say, 'Hello.' This is the baby and she's having her breakfast." (in a higher pitched voice) "Ohhhhhhh, she's so cute! Hi, little baby! Hi!"
Miss L: finally opens her eyes to see a Barbie "petting" Miss Q oh-so-lovingly, with the help of Miss E working the Barbie's plastic arm back and forth.
Miss E: (getting another doll, holding it inches from me and Miss Q, then says, again very quietly) "Oh! It's the New Baby! She's so cute!" (gets a Barbie and the "Oh! It's the New Baby" doll and they start having a very lengthy but quiet conversation about nursing and cute babies).
It was the funniest, weirdest thing, Gentle Reader, I tell you.

Comedy Gold.
Isn't it nice to have an audience? At least they were just Barbie's and not the neighborhood kids. :-)
It is adorable and so funny. Ashlyn "breast" feeds her baby just like Preston. She pulls up her shirt and "latches" the baby on, so seriously.
It's so cute to see them play pretend...Kayley always fed her baby while I fed Cora...she didn't have any concerns about privacy though so when I was in public nursing Cora, she would nurse her baby without a blanket...or she'd have a blanket and couldn't figure out how to keep it in place. It was cute!
